Nicolas Baldeyrou, a graduate of the CNSMD de Paris, is an internationally acclaimed clarinetist, educator, and advocate of historically informed performance. He has held teaching positions at leading institutions, including the CNSM in Lyon and the Conservatoire de Versailles, while maintaining strong ties with major instrument makers as an ambassador and researcher. A prizewinner of prestigious international competitions, he performs in top concert halls worldwide and appears regularly with renowned orchestras and conductors. Deeply influenced by figures such as Nikolaus Harnoncourt, he specializes in both modern and period instruments. His diverse career spans solo, chamber, and orchestral repertoire, supported by an award-winning discography and major recording projects.
