Il Vento Non Scritto is the Berlin Classics debut of flautist Zofia Neugebauer, featuring interpretations of flute concertos by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In this recording, Neugebauer performs with the Folkwang Chamber Orchestra Essen under the direction of conductor Johannes Klumpp. The program presents Mozart’s concertos alongside two newly composed cadenzas by Neugebauer herself, highlighting both historical performance tradition and contemporary creative input. Released on the Berlin Classics label, the album reflects a synthesis of interpretative refinement and personal artistic expression, positioning Neugebauer as both interpreter and composer within the classical flute repertoire.

Zofia Neugebauer (born 1994 in Wodzisław Śląski) is an internationally active flautist and soloist who began her musical training on piano before turning to flute at age ten. She made her early solo debut with the Katowice Symphony Orchestra at 13 and later studied at the Hochschule für Musik Basel under Felix Renggli. Her career advanced further through her participation in the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic, where she worked with Mathieu Dufour. Neugebauer has since performed with leading orchestras and at major European festivals, served as principal flute of the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, and continues to appear internationally as both performer and composer.
