In 1975, coinciding with the inauguration of its Madrid headquarters, the Fundación Juan March launched its "Recitals for Young People"—a series of presenter-led concerts designed for secondary-school students and performed by leading Spanish artists. This initiative's inaugural season featured five outstanding Spanish pianists, all former foundation grant holders, who guided young audiences through the European piano tradition from Mozart to Debussy. This meticulously remastered reissue revives the historical recordings from that first season. Originally released on a 1976 LP titled Conciertos para jóvenes. Recital de piano romántico, the collection serves as a valuable documentary record of Spanish pianism.
