Daniel Müller-Schott (born 2 November 1976) is a globally renowned cellist celebrated for his intense expressivity, heady technique, and advocacy for 21st-century music. Since 2022, he has served as co-artistic director of the Vevey Spring Classic festival. A frequent guest soloist with elite orchestras worldwide, he has collaborated with legendary conductors and premiered works dedicated to him by Sir André Previn and Peter Ruzicka. An avid chamber musician and educator, he regularly performs at major international festivals and leads masterclasses through the "Rhapsody in School" project. Having trained under masters like Heinrich Schiff, Müller-Schott performs on the 1727 "Ex Shapiro" Matteo Goffriller cello.
