With her debut album HERitage, pianist Julia Łozowska solidifies her status as one of her generation's most distinguished artists. Moving beyond her recognized repertoire from the Chopin Competition, Łozowska ambitiously contextualizes Frédéric Chopin's works within a broader Romantic framework. Born in 2001 in Warsaw, pianist Julia Łozowska studies under Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and Arie Vardi at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hanover. She has earned prestigious accolades in numerous international competitions, securing first prizes at the Narva Chopin Competition and the 'Youngsters Interpret Chopin' festival, as well as second prize at the Ville de Gagny competition. A highly active performer, Łozowska has graced stages at the Warsaw Philharmonic, the NOSPR Hall in Katowice, and global Chopin venues, further supported by a Norblin Factory Foundation scholarship.
