In their debut album, Pour que la nuit…, the Duo Solipse, comprising flutist Elena Stojceska and guitarist Romain Petiot, delivers a captivating tribute to Claude Debussy. The program is anchored by a masterfully reimagined arrangement of the seminal Prélude à l'après-midi d'un Faune, alongside Debussy’s Six épigraphes antiques. Moving beyond traditional boundaries, the duo curates a rich stylistic dialogue, seamlessly weaving in evocative twentieth-century works by Toru Takemitsu, Edison Denisov, Manuel de Falla, and Tomislav Zografski.
