Conductor Kazuki Yamada is the Music Director of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) and the Artistic and Music Director of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo (OPMC). Beginning with the 2026/27 season, he will also become the Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin. Mentored by Seiji Ozawa, Yamada infuses his global performances with a distinct "Japanese feeling," regularly returning to lead Japan's premier orchestras. His extensive international engagements feature debuts with elite ensembles like the Berliner Philharmoniker and the New York Philharmonic, alongside collaborations with world-class soloists and a dedicated commitment to music education.
