American composer and conductor Eric Whitacre (b. 1970) is a Juilliard graduate celebrated worldwide for his innovative classical compositions and pioneering digital music initiatives. Famed for founding the global Virtual Choir phenomenon—uniting over 100,000 singers across 145 countries—Whitacre seamlessly bridges classical traditions with modern technology, live electronics, and media sampling. His career highlights include chart-topping Decca Classics albums, high-profile commissions for top global orchestras and ensembles, and creative collaborations with artists ranging from Hans Zimmer to NASA. A former Artist in Residence with the Los Angeles Master Chorale, Whitacre remains a dynamic conductor, influential Yamaha artist, and acclaimed international keynote speaker.

Lavinia Meijer (b. 1983) is a Dutch harpist born in South Korea and adopted at a young age, who began studying harp at age nine and entered the Utrecht Conservatory exceptionally early. She completed advanced training in Utrecht and Amsterdam, graduating with high distinction, and began performing with orchestras as a teenager. Meijer is widely recognized for expanding the harp repertoire beyond traditional boundaries, incorporating contemporary, minimalist, and cross-genre works. She has collaborated closely with composers such as Philip Glass, transcribing and performing his works, and has also worked with artists like Ólafur Arnalds. Her career spans major international venues and festivals, blending classical performance with experimental and popular music, earning both critical acclaim and commercial success.
