Born in Toronto, classical guitarist Laura Young is a globally recognized virtuoso celebrated for her expressive innovation and technical mastery. After winning prestigious international competitions, including the Andrés Segovia, she established a prominent career in Europe. Renowned for expanding the guitar's boundaries, Young has inspired and premiered numerous contemporary works dedicated to her by composers like Sergio Assad. Her acclaimed 2018 album, Laura Young Plays Max Reger, features her intricate transcriptions of Reger's solo instrumental works and was awarded the prestigious Pasticcio prize. Today, she remains a leading figure in the international classical guitar community.

Canadian violinist Farran Sylvan James is a leading Baroque soloist, concertmaster, and conductor based in Spain. Since relocating from New York over 25 years ago, she has earned high acclaim for her passionate performances in prestigious venues like the Berlin Philharmonic and Wigmore Hall. James has served as concertmaster for prominent ensembles, including Ayre Español, and currently leads Vespres d'Arnadí at Barcelona’s Palau de la Música. A Juilliard and SUNY Stony Brook alumna, she is also a respected chamber musician and guest conductor for ensembles like the Baroque Orchestra of Seville, with a diverse discography spanning major classical labels.
