Yulianna Avdeeva, born in Moscow in 1985, is a renowned Russian classical pianist. A Chopin Competition winner in 2010, she trained at the Gnessin School, Zurich University of the Arts, and the International Piano Academy Lake Como. Known for her expressive interpretations, Avdeeva has performed worldwide, including a sold-out Carnegie Hall debut in 2023. Her 2024–25 season features major performances of Shostakovich’s 24 Preludes and Fugues, chamber collaborations with leading artists, and appearances at top festivals. A committed recording artist, her recent albums Resilience and Voyage explore politically resonant and late Romantic repertoire. She is celebrated for her depth, precision, and powerful musical voice.
