12 Dreams is a mysterious, romantic solo project by pianist and composer Aleksander Dębicz, one of the most innovative figures on the Polish music scene. Known for pioneering the "cinematic classical" style, which blends classical structure, filmic narrative, and improvisation, Dębicz presents a cycle of twelve piano miniatures governed by oneiric logic and Romantic prelude traditions. Inspired by the elusive nature of dreams and reveries, the album explores dream states both as thematic material and architectural form. Featuring the track "REM," created in collaboration with artist WEARYMARY, 12 Dreams stands as Dębicz's most evocative, atmosphere-driven work to date.

Aleksander Dębicz, a Fryderyk Chopin University of Music alumnus, is an acclaimed Polish pianist, composer, and arranger who pioneered "cinematic classical"—a genre merging classical forms, film score narratives, and improvisation. Introduced on his debut Cinematic Piano (2015) and showcased across seven Warner Classics releases, his versatile catalog spans solo works, theater scores, and major commissions like Unity and 1025. A winner of the international Bridgerton Scoring Competition, Dębicz frequently collaborates with countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński, co-founding the award-winning #LetsBaRock project and the Break in Classic festival. Performing internationally with elite orchestras and top festivals, he continually bridges traditional classical structures with contemporary innovation.
