Göran Söllscher (b. 1955)’s album of works by Bach and Fernando Sor is making its digital debut as part of Deutsche Grammophon's Concours series, a collection highlighting competitive award-winners early in their careers. The series captures the technical brilliance and vibrant creative energy of emerging artists on the global stage. Alongside Söllscher’s release, DG is digitally issuing two other historic recordings from the collection: pianist Hans-Christian Wille performing Mussorgsky, Ravel, and Ginastera, and violinist Dmitry Sitkovetsky featuring compositions by Bach, Paganini, and Prokofiev.
