Fanny Azzuro’s new album, Hypnos, released on naïve, invites listeners on a contemplative musical journey exploring night, dreams, and inner consciousness. Building upon the thematic legacy of Golden Dreams, the French pianist weaves a rich tapestry of works by Robert and Clara Schumann, Brahms, Chopin, Scriabin, Grieg, and Respighi. Through a delicate play of chiaroscuro, memory, and suspended states of being, Azzuro connects diverse eras into a cohesive narrative. Each piece acts as a vivid fragment of the night, shifting from tranquil introspection to incandescent emotion, to showcase her signature sensitivity to color, texture, and evocative storytelling.

French pianist Fanny Azzuro (b. 1986) is an acclaimed soloist and chamber musician celebrated for her evocative interpretations and expansive stylistic breadth. Educated at the Paris Conservatory, Helsinki’s Sibelius Academy, and Imola’s Accademia Pianistica under Boris Petrushansky, Azzuro has established a prominent international career with performances at venues like Carnegie Hall and major French festivals such as La Roque d'Anthéron. Her acclaimed discography spans Impressionist works on 1905 Impressions, Russian masterworks on Landscapes of the Soul, and romantic selections on Golden Dreams. A dedicated collaborator, she has performed alongside premier instrumentalists, string quartets, and the SpiriTango Quartet.
