Soprano and ukulelist Agathe Peyrat has built a distinctive career defined by cross-disciplinary freedom, drawing on classical training at the Maîtrise de Radio France and London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Equally at home in traditional opera, contemporary musical theater, and non-classical song, she has performed at major venues, including the Philharmonie de Paris, Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie, and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, with acclaimed ensembles like Pygmalion and Aedes. Peyrat frequently collaborates on innovative theatrical adaptations, leads cabaret and song projects with her ukulele, and performs in an inventive duo with accordionist Pierre Cussac, reflecting a commitment to music that transcends genre boundaries.
Accordionist and bandoneonist Pierre Cussac, a graduate of the Conservatoire de Paris (CNSMDP) and the Sorbonne, is an eclectic musician and arranger whose artistic style blends classical, traditional, and jazz influences with improvisation. A laureate of the Fondation Cziffra, Cussac has performed worldwide as a soloist and chamber musician at major venues including the Berliner Philharmonie, Tokyo International Forum, and Palais Garnier alongside leading ensembles such as the Orchestre de l'Opéra National de Paris and Klangforum Wien. Known for cross-genre collaborations with artists like Agathe Peyrat and ensembles like La Symphonie de Poche, he frequently devises original, audience-focused programs and recordings.
