New York City-based trio Sputter Box presents Snapshots & Serenades, a collection showcasing their dedicated advocacy for new music through commissioned works. Through virtuosic execution, Sputter Box demonstrates the expansive expressive range of small chamber instrumentation.

Founded by clarinetist Kathryn Vetter, soprano Alina Tamborini, and percussionist Peter White, New York City-based trio Sputter Box is an innovative ensemble expanding contemporary chamber music through engaging, interdisciplinary performances. Pioneering their unique instrumentation, the group has commissioned over eighty works and earned prestigious grants from organizations including Chamber Music America, the FROMM Music Foundation, and the Alice M. Ditson Fund. Known for dynamic interpretations that shift effortlessly from delicate textures to near-orchestral power, Sputter Box has held numerous university residencies and festival fellowships, captivating audiences nationwide with their vibrant, accessible approach to modern repertoire.
