Grammy-nominated English saxophonist and composer Christian Forshaw presents a major new album inspired by the ancient Holy Island of Lindisfarne, where sacred history and pilgrimage intersect with song. Renowned for his collaborations with artists such as Brian Eno, Forshaw crafts an immersive soundscape that seamlessly blends elements of folk, classical, sacred, and contemporary music. Scored for saxophone and soprano with layered instrumental arrangements, the project prominently features the luminous vocals of soprano Grace Davidson, who serves as a central artistic force in shaping the album's serene and evocative identity.

English saxophonist, composer, and Guildhall School of Music & Drama professor Christian Forshaw presents a distinguished career bridging classical performance, contemporary collaboration, and screen composition. A distinguished Guildhall alumnus, Forshaw has performed with world-class ensembles such as the London Sinfonietta and the Philharmonia Orchestra, while collaborating with prominent artists including Brian Eno, Voces8, and Damon Albarn. His musical contributions span feature films like Ridley Scott’s The Last Duel and BBC productions. Now signed to Decca Records, Forshaw releases his eighth solo recording, Lindisfarne: Beyond the Causeway, marking a compelling new chapter in his celebrated discography.
