The program features works by pioneering composers such as Giuseppe Maria Cambini, creator of the first wind quintets, flute virtuoso Giulio Briccialdi, and the celebrated Gioacchino Rossini. Blending tradition with imagination, the ensemble transforms operatic brilliance into a lively chamber music experience. This vibrant tribute highlights both historical development and expressive energy, offering listeners a fresh perspective on opera’s legacy. Tutti all’opera is presented as an essential and joyful discovery for all music lovers.

Pentaèdre is a distinguished Quebec wind quintet acclaimed for its precision and artistry, dedicated to showcasing a wide-ranging chamber music repertoire. Over the years, it has collaborated with leading artists such as Christoph Prégardien, Karina Gauvin, Russell Braun, and Charles Richard-Hamelin, as well as ensembles like the Penderecki String Quartet and the Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet. With fifteen recordings, highlights include Bach-inspired works (2021), Mozart transcriptions (2019), Schubert’s Winterreise (Opus Prize 2008), and arrangements of Stravinsky and Mussorgsky (ADISQ 2014). Known for innovative productions and international performances, Pentaèdre also fosters new wind repertoire through its Fonds Normand Forget, founded in 2017.
