“Alla Schumann” is a Tchaikovsky variation paying homage to Robert Schumann, reflecting both admiration and a kinship in style and emotional depth. The recording explores the shared qualities of their music, from intimate, confessional moments to nostalgic dreamlike passages and intense, passionate expression. It highlights the musical and spiritual connection between these two central Romantic composers, offering listeners a journey through their intertwined artistic worlds.

Nathalia Milstein (b. 1995, France) began piano at age four, studying with her father before training with Nelson Goerner in Geneva and Sir András Schiff in Berlin. Her international career began in 2015 after winning 1st Prize at the Dublin International Piano Competition, followed by the Young Soloist Prize from Médias Francophones Publics in 2017. She performs worldwide in major venues and festivals, collaborating with orchestras such as the Orchestre de Paris and Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, and renowned conductors including Matthias Pintscher and Jonathan Nott. An active chamber musician, she frequently performs with her sister, violinist Maria Milstein. Her discography includes solo and duo recordings, acclaimed for Prokofiev, Ravel, Stravinsky, and Schubert.
