Amanda Favier, born in 1979, is a prominent French violinist of the new generation. A child prodigy, she performed her first concerto at nine and entered the Paris Conservatoire at thirteen, studying under Gérard Poulet and earning a first violin prize. She continued her training in Cologne and London with Igor Ozim and Sir Ifrah Neaman. Favier has won over a dozen international competitions, including being the youngest winner of the Leipzig Bach Competition. She has performed at major venues worldwide and with leading orchestras. Recognized with awards such as the Prix Forthuny and Prix Berthier, she is also a regular presence on European radio and television.
Élodie Soulard, born in 1986, is a distinguished French accordionist. She studied near Clermont-Ferrand, at the Conservatoire du XIIe arrondissement de Paris with Max Bonnay, and later at the CNSM de Paris, earning a Master d’Accordéon in 2010. She pursued a pre-doctoral program under Jean-François Heisser and trained with masters across Europe, including Russian concert accordionist Yuri Shishkin. Supported by the Fondation Safran, she performs internationally at major venues such as Salle Pleyel, Cité de la Musique, Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, and Seoul Arts Center. Soulard’s repertoire spans Bach to contemporary composers, and she has created numerous transcriptions. She collaborates with prominent musicians and ensembles, including Les Siècles, C Barré, and the Radio France Philharmonic.
