Sachiko Kawamura is a Japanese pianist who began playing at age four and trained at Kita-Kamakura Girls’ High School, the Tokyo University of the Arts, and the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory, where she studied with Professor Elena Richter of the Neuhaus tradition. An award winner at the Classical Musica International Competition in Russia, she has performed extensively in Japan and internationally, including in Italy, the United Kingdom, and Russia, appearing at notable cultural venues and festivals. Her discography includes Kawamura Plays Goldberg (2014) and KAWAMURA plays Chopin Etudes (2018). She is also active as an educator, competition juror, and online mentor, and in 2025 launched a YouTube channel dedicated to major piano repertoire.
