Marco Momi has long exemplified a compositional approach grounded in deductive logic, applying rigorous structural thinking to sound and its psychological resonance. This monographic collection presents a mature synthesis of his artistic vision, featuring the complete Vuoi che cycle (Vuoi che i passi accadano, Vuoi che perduti, Vuoi che nel fuori) alongside Almost Close, part of the broader Almost cycle. Together, these works reflect Momi’s refined exploration of form, perception, and sonic architecture, offering a compelling representation of his distinctive musical language and its expressive depth.

Marco Momi (born 1978 in Perugia) is an Italian composer and conductor trained in piano, orchestral conducting, and composition across major European centers. From 2007 to 2010, he worked at IRCAM in Paris, shaping a research-driven compositional voice. His works have received international recognition, including awards from the Gaudeamus Music Prize and Impuls–Klangforum Wien, and have been performed by leading ensembles such as Ensemble Intercontemporain and Klangforum Wien at major festivals and venues across Europe and beyond. A former resident at institutions including the Akademie der Künste in Berlin, he currently teaches Composition at the Conservatory of Fermo. His music is published by Ricordi.
