Mosaïc is a six-member ensemble bringing together musicians from Bulgaria, France, Portugal, and Tunisia. Their work creates a meeting point between jazz and Mediterranean musical traditions, blending diverse influences into a distinctive artistic language. The group combines Balkan ornamentation, the tonal colors of Western European chamber music, and the rhythmic foundations of North African music. Through this fusion, they craft imaginative soundscapes that move from energetic grooves to delicate passages featuring instruments such as the Bulgarian kaval and warm string textures. Having performed across the Mediterranean region, Mosaïc now introduces its debut album, inspired by the places they have visited and the people they have encountered along their journey.
