Severin von Eckardstein (born 1978) is a prominent German pianist with an extensive international career, performing both solo and with major orchestras such as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Mariinsky Orchestra under leading conductors. A regular guest at prestigious venues and festivals, including the Concertgebouw’s “Meesterpianisten” series and the Klavier Festival Ruhr, he has earned top prizes at competitions such as the Leeds International Piano Competition and the Queen Elisabeth Competition. Trained in Berlin and internationally, he is also an active chamber musician and educator, appointed professor in Cologne in 2023. His acclaimed recordings include award-winning and recent releases.
