Dvořák’s Circle is the third release by the Hermitage Piano Trio, exploring the musical and personal connections between Antonín Dvořák and two of his protégés, Josef Suk and Rudolf Friml. Produced by GRAMMY winners Victor and Marina A. Ledin of Encore Consultants, the album was recorded in April 2023 at Skywalker Sound Scoring Stage by Reference Recordings’ award-winning engineers Sean Royce Martin and Keith O. Johnson, combining historical insight with high-fidelity sound.

Hermitage Piano Trio descends from the Russian musical tradition and is celebrated for its expressive musicality, interpretative versatility, and rich sound. Drawing inspiration from St. Petersburg’s Hermitage State Museum, the trio balances its Russian lineage with a repertoire spanning European classics to contemporary American commissions. Based in the United States, it has performed at major chamber music series across North America and internationally, earning praise from The Washington Post for performances of exceptional power and passion. The trio’s repertoire includes works by Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Schubert, Dvořák, and Brahms, and its debut CD for Reference Recordings features Rachmaninoff’s piano trios.
