Massimo La Rosa, born in Palermo, is an internationally acclaimed trombonist who began his studies at the Vincenzo Bellini Conservatory. Renowned for his orchestral leadership, he served as principal trombone of the Gran Teatro La Fenice Orchestra and later the Cleveland Orchestra, performing as a soloist in major concertos and touring globally under conductors such as Franz Welser-Möst and Pierre Boulez. He has also collaborated with leading ensembles worldwide and held teaching positions, notably at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Alongside his performance career, he is active in recording and philanthropy, supporting charitable causes through music.

Tomoko Sawano (born 1969 in Tokyo) is a distinguished pianist recognized for her excellence in ensemble performance. Beginning piano at age three, she studied at the Tokyo College of Music before continuing her training in Germany at the Berlin University of the Arts under Rainer Becker. An award-winning musician, she has collaborated internationally as both performer and official competition pianist, earning acclaim for her musical sensitivity and partnership skills. Since 1998, she has worked as a répétiteur at major German institutions, including the Franz Liszt College of Music Weimar, mentoring prize-winning students and maintaining an active global career.
