Felix Klieser continues his acclaimed recording career with Senza Parole, released on April 17, 2026, by Berlin Classics. His eighth album for the label, it follows the concept of his award-winning Baroque Arias for Horn, reimagining well-known melodies in a purely instrumental, “wordless” form. This release focuses on iconic themes from Italian opera and film, featuring music by Gioachino Rossini, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Gaetano Donizetti, Vincenzo Bellini, and Eduardo di Capua, alongside Nino Rota’s “Parla più piano” from The Godfather. Klieser is joined by I Solisti di Pavia, with arrangements by Wolfgang Renz, creating a refined and expressive reinterpretation of beloved repertoire.
Felix Klieser (born 1991) is an internationally acclaimed horn player known for his exceptional artistry and unconventional technique, performing without arms. A prodigy, he began studying early and later trained at the University of Music and Theatre in Hannover. He gained major recognition in 2014 with the ECHO Klassik Award and has since received honors including the Leonard Bernstein Award. Klieser has performed with leading orchestras and at major venues such as the BBC Proms and Ravenna Festival. Alongside a successful recording career featuring works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, he is also an active chamber musician and educator.
