Composer, flautist, and producer Allison Loggins-Hull is recognized for her genre-defying style and innovative sonic palette. Her album Patchwork, developed during her time as a Composing Fellow with the Cleveland Orchestra, features six chamber works exploring themes such as relationships, identity, justice, and resilience. The pieces range from the intimate title track for viola and cello to Can You See?, a reflective critique of American ideals, and Homeland, inspired by Hurricane Maria’s impact on Puerto Rico. Other works address racial injustice and personal tragedy, while the closing piece, Shine, offers an uplifting reflection on hope and perseverance.

Allison Loggins-Hull is a versatile composer, flutist, and producer whose genre-defying work spans orchestral, chamber, film, and electronic music. Her compositional voice blends innovative sonic effects with influences from Black American musical traditions, often engaging themes of community, culture, and identity, and aligning with Afrofuturist ideas. Her music has been performed by leading ensembles including the New York Philharmonic and The Cleveland Orchestra, where she served as a Composer Fellow. Currently Resident Artistic Partner with the New Jersey Symphony, she is also an active performer and film composer, collaborating with major artists and contributing to award-winning projects.
