Polish-Austrian pianist Natalia Rehling presents a program exploring Frédéric Chopin’s music from his formative stays in Vienna (1829 and 1830–31), juxtaposing early works with more mature expressions. Her performance combines refined virtuosity with interpretative insight, highlighting both well-known pieces and rarities, including two versions of Var. IV from the Variations on “Là ci darem la mano” drawn from Chopin’s original manuscript. The program spans works such as the impassioned Scherzo, Étude Op. 10 No. 6, Nocturne Op. 15 No. 2, and Mazurkas, revealing Chopin’s expressive breadth through a blend of Polish character and Viennese elegance.

Natalia Rehling is a distinguished Polish-Austrian pianist and Yamaha artist, celebrated for her deep affinity with Frédéric Chopin’s music. Trained in Poland and Austria under eminent teachers and master pianists, she has earned international recognition through major competition prizes, including at the International Chopin Competitions in Warsaw and Mariánské Lázně. Praised for her virtuosity, clarity, and interpretative insight, she has performed widely as a soloist and with leading ensembles, including appearances at Vienna’s प्रमुख concert venues. Her work also reflects a strong commitment to historically informed performance, highlighted by recordings on original fortepianos. In addition to her concert career, she teaches at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and serves as Vice President of the International Chopin Society in Vienna.
