Nanaho Ishikawa was born in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, and has established herself as a promising young pianist through notable international achievements. She was a semi-finalist at the Fletilla-Zuloaga International Piano Competition, received the Matsukata Hall Music Award Encouragement Prize, and earned third prize at the Epinal International Piano Competition. Ishikawa graduated from the high school and university programs of Tokyo University of the Arts and completed her graduate studies at Nagoya University of Arts with the Chairman’s Award as the top student in her class. Currently pursuing a diploma course at the same institution, she has studied under Kentaro Kawada and Yukio Yokoyama. In 2025, she was selected for the Munetsugu Angel Fund/Japan Federation of Musicians’ Domestic Scholarship Program for Emerging Artists.
