Luca Sanzò is an Italian violist, educator, and recording artist known for his strong commitment to contemporary music and viola pedagogy. A student of Bruno Giuranna, he has performed extensively in major concert halls and at leading chamber, electronic, and contemporary music festivals. Sanzò is a member of the Parco della Musica Contemporanea Ensemble and has appeared multiple times at the Venice Biennale. He has also served as principal viola with prominent Italian opera orchestras in Cagliari, Rome, and Bologna. Dedicated to teaching, he has trained many successful violists now active across Europe. He currently teaches at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia and has published a revised edition of Bartolomeo Campagnoli’s 41 Caprices for Solo Viola.
