Under the inspired hands of the 2025 Young Swiss Artists award winner, the composer’s unique and rich musical language is vividly brought to life. Curated to be both eclectic and remarkably consistent, the program thoughtfully organizes and explores Scriabin's visionary works through the thematic prism of the four elements. The result is a deeply insightful, cohesive, and comprehensive overview of the legendary Russian composer’s complex artistry, beautifully showcased by an exceptional emerging talent.
Russian pianist Daria Vasileva received her foundational classical training at the Kazan Conservatory, excelling as a soloist, chamber musician, and educator. After winning several international accolades, including the Smetana International Piano Competition, she was awarded a prestigious Swiss government ESKAS grant to study at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Under the guidance of Professor Benjamin Moser, Vasileva grew deeply captivated by the passionate, emotionally charged works of Alexander Scriabin.
