Danish pianist Rikke Sandberg, a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Music’s soloist class, is widely recognized as an exceptionally expressive and versatile artist. She has performed globally as a soloist with major orchestras under renowned conductors like Luisi and Petrenko, while building a critically acclaimed discography featuring Brahms, Rachmaninov, and Koppel. Beyond her performing career, Sandberg serves as the artistic director of the Nordic Chamber Music Festival, teaches at her alma mater, adjudicates international competitions, and has received numerous prestigious accolades, including the Danish Music Critics' Artist Prize.
