Born in 1998, German pianist, composer, and saxophonist Johannes Obermeier is a versatile artist who balances musical excellence with academic achievement, holding a Master of Science in business administration alongside advanced degrees in piano and composition from the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. A highly decorated competitor, he won third prize at the 2022 ARD International Music Competition and first prize at the International Schimmel Piano Competition. Obermeier maintains an active international career as a soloist and chamber musician, frequently collaborating with renowned artists and major orchestras, including the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, while additionally serving as a musical coach in Munich.
