Australian violinist Anne Harvey-Nagl maintains a distinguished career as Concertmaster of the Volksoper Vienna, the Vienna Opera Ball Orchestra, and the Beethoven Philharmonie Baden. A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, she studied under esteemed mentors including Günter Pichler. Since 1992, Harvey-Nagl has been a dedicated chamber musician, notably with the Koehne Quartet, and a founding member of the Australian World Orchestra. Her extensive performance history spans solo appearances and collaborations with premier European ensembles, bridging her Australian roots and her prominent position within the Viennese musical landscape.
Australian musician John O’Donnell is an acclaimed conductor, keyboardist, researcher, and educator. Currently the Monash University Organist and Director of Ensemble Gombert, O'Donnell's career includes decades of academic leadership at the Victorian College of the Arts and the University of Melbourne. Renowned for his historical expertise, he became the first person to publicly perform J.S. Bach's complete keyboard works. His extensive international career features 33 concert tours across Europe and North America, award-winning recordings, and the direction of seminal Baroque and Classical operas and choral masterpieces, alongside active performances as a collaborative 19th-century repertoire pianist.
