Born in Norway in 1943, Kjell Flem studied under acclaimed composers Einar Englund and Einojuhani Rautavaara, eventually distinguishing himself as a celebrated figure in Scandinavian contemporary music. His compositions are characterized by an accessible, non-radical aesthetic that emphasizes atmospheric engagement and is deeply rooted in the natural landscape of his homeland. Choosing quality over quantity, Flem maintains a relatively small musical output, intentionally allowing himself long creative periods between works. This deliberate pace stems from his artistic philosophy that truly magical moments of musical inspiration are rare and require time to naturally mature.

Born in Bavaria in 1970, pianist Oliver Triendl is an internationally acclaimed soloist and chamber musician who studied under masters such as Gerhard Oppitz and Oleg Maisenberg. A passionate advocate for neglected Romantic and contemporary repertoire, Triendl possesses a unique catalog that includes over 100 piano concertos and hundreds of chamber works, leading to nearly 150 CD recordings. In recognition of his tireless advocacy, he received the Special Achievement Award from ICMA and OPUS KLASSIK in 2025. Triendl regularly performs globally with world-class orchestras, including the Munich Philharmonic, and collaborates with prominent international string quartets and instrumentalists.

Trained at the Karlsruhe University of Music and the Kronberg Academy, cellist Benedict Kloeckner is celebrated as one of the most outstanding musicians of his generation. He performs globally as a soloist with prestigious orchestras and collaborates with renowned conductors such as Daniel Barenboim and Sir Simon Rattle. An active chamber musician and the founder of the Koblenz International Music Festival, Kloeckner also serves as a professor at the École Normale de Musique Paris. His award-winning discography features the complete Bach Suites and a highly acclaimed 2024 Dvořák album. He performs on the historic 1680 "Ex Maurice Gendron" Ruggeri cello.
