Acclaimed by critics for his "sovereign" command and radiant performance style, violinist Samuel Hirsch is a prodigiously gifted artist who trained under masters like Renaud Capuçon and Oleg Kaskiv. A distinguished prizewinner of the A. Grumiaux International Competition, Hirsch has graced elite global stages, including the Berlin Philharmonie and Victoria Hall. His extensive festival credits include the Zermatt Music Festival and the Pablo Casals Festival. Deeply committed to cultural accessibility and musical outreach, Hirsch further expanded his artistic impact in 2023 by founding Les Concerts de la Thièle, an annual music festival in Yverdon-les-Bains.
Pianist Marie-Christine Pasche is highly praised for her exceptional musicality, profound interpretations, and penetrating touch. Trained in Switzerland, her formal education includes a concert diploma from the Hochschule für Musik in Zurich under Professor Eckart Heiligers, alongside masterclasses with legendary pianists like Paul Badura-Skoda. Between 2013 and 2019, she refined her artistry at Canada's Orford Academy under masters like Dang Thai Son. Pasche performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician at renowned venues such as Geneva's Victoria Hall and Vienna's Ehrbar Saal. Formerly a professor at the Bern Conservatory, she continues to enrich the cultural landscape as the artistic director of the "Piano & Chamber Music at St-Jean" concert series, which she founded in 2018.
