Dalia Stasevska (b. 1984) is a Kyiv-born Finnish conductor who trained in violin, viola, and conducting at the Tampere Conservatory, the Royal Swedish Academy of Music, and the Sibelius Academy. She served as Chief Conductor of the Lahti Symphony Orchestra from 2021 to 2025 and became the Principal Guest Conductor of the BBC Symphony Orchestra in 2019—the first woman to hold the post—with her tenure extended through 2027. Recipient of the 2020 Royal Philharmonic Society Conductor Award, Stasevska has made high-profile appearances internationally, including conducting the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony and multiple First and Last Night performances at the BBC Proms.
