Following the success of Requiem, winner of the 2025 Félix Award for Classical Album of the Year, composer François Dompierre, conductor Francis Choinière, and the Orchestre FILMharmonique reunite for Les Quatre Saisons du Québec. Expanding upon the classic seasonal archetype, this original composition captures the distinct landscapes, colors, and cultural heritage of Québec. Dompierre draws inspiration from folk, Acadian, Irish, and North American influences to reflect the province's collective identity. Parallel to Astor Piazzolla's tango-infused reimagining of Vivaldi, this project incorporates regional dances and traditional songs to deliver a vibrant tribute to Québec’s rich musical history.

François Dompierre (b. 1943) is a multifaceted Canadian composer, orchestrator, author, and broadcaster whose career spans several decades of prominent artistic output. He initially gained recognition through his collaborations with legendary Québec artists like Félix Leclerc before establishing himself as a prolific film composer for acclaimed directors such as Denys Arcand and Claude Chabrol. His extensive output includes major concert works, musicals co-created with Michel Tremblay, instrumental concertos, and multi-genre recordings. Alongside writing biographies, memoirs, and culinary books, he hosted radio programming on ICI Musique for twelve years. His enduring artistic legacy has earned him the Order of Canada and induction into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Isabella d’Éloize Perron is an acclaimed Canadian virtuoso violinist celebrated for her mature and commanding performance style. A former child prodigy who debuted early with the Orchestre Métropolitain, she holds degrees from the Glenn Gould School under Bill van der Sloot and Erika Raum. Perron has earned top honors at major competitions, including the Concertino Praga, Klein International, and Corcoran Concerto competitions. Following extensive sold-out tours across North America with conductor Francis Choinière and the FILMharmonic Orchestra, she continues to perform on prestigious global stages like Carnegie Hall and Wigmore Hall. She performs on a 1768 Guadagnini violin, generously loaned by Canimex Inc.
