Born in Stokke, Norway, in 1987, soprano Lise Davidsen achieved international acclaim in 2015 after sweeping major competitions, including Operalia, the Queen Sonja, and the Hans Gabor Belvedere competitions. She has since performed at premier global venues—such as the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Ballet & Opera Covent Garden, Teatro alla Scala, and the Bayreuth Festival—and headlined major broadcasts including the BBC Proms and Vienna’s Summer Night Concert. An exclusive Decca recording artist, Davidsen maintains a vast discography of solo albums, complete operas, and song recitals alongside an extensive catalogue of filmed operatic performances and feature documentaries.
