Belgian-Albanian cellist Olsi Leka has served as principal cellist of the Belgian National Orchestra since 2005. Trained at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (KCB) and the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, Leka now leads the KCB's low string department as a cello professor and serves on the artistic committee of South Korea's Daegu Concert House. His career encompasses global recital tours, chamber performances, masterclasses, and acclaimed recordings, including J.S. Bach’s complete Cello Suites and Belgian repertoire with pianist Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden. Leka performs on a historical 1820 Raffaele Gagliano cello, gifted by Queen Elisabeth of Belgium to the Eric Feldbusch Foundation.

Belgian pianist Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden launched a brilliant international career at just sixteen after becoming a laureate at the 1964 Queen Elisabeth Competition. He has performed as a soloist in major venues and festivals worldwide, collaborating with top orchestras like the Royal Philharmonic and conductors such as Yuri Temirkanov. Renowned for his vast repertoire—including Maurice Ravel's complete solo piano works—he is also an avid chamber musician who has partnered with artists like Augustin Dumay and José Van Dam. Today, Vanden Eynden serves as an emeritus professor at the Royal Brussels Conservatory, teaches at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, and directs the Eduardo del Pueyo Musical Centre.
