In his sixth solo album, pianist Clemens Christian Poetzsch presents a collection of eleven evocative piano miniatures inspired by his international performance tour. Each track bears the name of a distinct city or location where he recently graced the stage, including Porto, Amman, Beirut, Athens, and Prague. Among these is an intimate piece dedicated to a small, car-free North Sea island, capturing the tranquil atmosphere where post-concert stillness and starlight dominate the evening. Through this cohesive project, Poetzsch masterfully translates his personal travel experiences and live performances into a deeply atmospheric and reflective musical journey.

Born in 1985, contemporary German composer and pianist Clemens Christian Poetzsch studied at the Dresden Conservatory of Music and is currently based in Leipzig. Known for seamlessly blending modern classical, jazz, and electronic music under the Neue Meister/Edel label, his acclaimed solo albums, including Remember Tomorrow and Chasing Heisenberg, have earned multiple Opus Klassik nominations and over 25 million streams. Poetzsch frequently performs globally at major venues like Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie, composes for film, theater, and ballet, and collaborates with diverse international artists. Beyond his solo career, his versatile output encompasses prominent film soundtracks and extensive international cultural tours.
