Divine Art presents a compelling recording of Eduard Tubin’s Requiem for Fallen Soldiers and other major male choral works, performed by the Estonian National Male Choir under conductor Mikk Üleoja. Released in conjunction with the 2026 Tubin Festival in Tartu and Tallinn, the album features mezzo-soprano Iris Oja, trumpeter Indrek Vau, organist Piret Aidulo, and percussionists Madis Metsamart and Anto Õnnis. Celebrating one of Estonia’s greatest composers, the collection captures Tubin’s lifelong dedication to male choir composition, spanning folk-infused homeland miniatures to poignant exile masterworks. Combining Marie Under and Henrik Visnapuu's evocative poetry with Tubin's deeply personal reflections, these recordings honor those lost during World War II and the Soviet occupation.

The Grammy Award-winning Estonian National Male Choir (ENMC) is globally recognized as one of Estonia’s premier vocal ensembles. Comprising 46 professional singers led by Chief Conductor and Artistic Director Mikk Üleoja, the choir boasts an expansive repertoire spanning Renaissance masterworks to modern commissions, including new 2025 arrangements by Arvo Pärt. Over its distinguished history, ENMC has delivered more than 7,000 concerts internationally, collaborating with world-class orchestras and renowned conductors such as Paul Hillier and Kent Nagano. Recipients of Estonia's prestigious State Cultural Award, the ensemble maintains a prolific discography across leading international labels, continuously pioneering innovative collaborative choral projects.
