Austrian violinist and conductor Thomas Zehetmair (b. 1961), a former student of Nathan Milstein and Max Rostal, maintains an internationally acclaimed, multifaceted career spanning solo performance, chamber music, and conducting. Known for incorporating historic performance practices and playing repertoire from Bach to contemporary premieres, he frequently serves as soloist-conductor.
