The album features a rich program spanning beloved tango classics like “La vi llegar” and “La Calesita” to iconic compositions by Astor Piazzolla, including “Oblivion” and “La muerte del Ángel.” Concluding the release are two world-premiere recordings of original tangos by German composer Bobbi Fischer. This project also marks the debut recording of the Ferrari Quartet, a string ensemble led by violinist Alban Beikircher alongside Salome Hänsler, Vera Beikircher, and cellist Michael Kevin Jones.
