Organist Philip Hoch performs his organ arrangement of Philip Glass's iconic 1982 album GLASSWORKS.

Philip Hoch, an accomplished organist, began studying the instrument at age five under his grandmother, Dr. Olga Schmidt. His skills flourished during his time at the University of Redlands, where he studied with renowned organist Frederick Swann and earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music. He became the first organist to win the School of Music Performance Award and received honors such as membership in Pi Kappa Lambda and the President’s Honor Recital award. Philip has performed in prestigious venues and events, including a worldwide broadcast during the Karmapa’s visit. He is currently pursuing a DMA at UCLA under Dr. Christoph Bull.
