Japanese artist Cocomi releases her fourth album Bouquet de Cinéma. "The role I want to play is always to be a 'gateway to classical music.' With that in mind, I chose the theme of film music for my fourth film, a collection of pieces that everyone has probably heard at least once. Film music is familiar, but I think it's also beautiful above all else. When watching an emotionally stirring film, I often think, 'If it weren't for this piece of music in this scene, I might not have cried.' I think the influence of music on film is great." — Cocomi

Cocomi Kimura (b. 2001), known professionally as Cocomi, is a Japanese model and flutist. The elder daughter of actor Takuya Kimura and singer Shizuka Kudo, she grew up in Tokyo and speaks Japanese, French, and English, having attended international schools. Initially trained on violin, she switched to flute at age eleven, studying with renowned teachers and attending masterclasses with Vladimir Ashkenazy and Emmanuel Pahud. She won the Wind Instrument High School Division of the Japan Music Competition. After graduating from Toho Girls’ High School, she entered Toho Gakuen School of Music. In 2020, she debuted as a model, appearing on Vogue Japan’s cover and becoming a Dior beauty ambassador.
