Joosang Kim, born in Korea in 1998, is a concert pianist active in the Berlin metropolitan area. He studied with Eldar Nebolsin and Gabriele Kupfernagel at the Hanns Eisler Music University and is known for grounded interpretations and a powerful, solid sound. He has performed in leading venues across Berlin, Europe, and Korea, including Studiosaal, Kammermusiksaal, Boesendorfersaal, and Keumho Art Hall. Supported by a DAAD scholarship, he has attended masterclasses with prominent pianists such as Dmitri Alexeev and Andrea Lucchesini. Kim has won numerous awards, including first prizes at the Iscart International Music Competition and the Paderewski in Memoriam Competition.
