Jodylne Gallavadin’s second album for Scala Music, recorded in September 2024 and produced by Cécile Lenoir, is a nocturnal musical journey from dusk to dawn. Opening with Lyapunov’s Evening Reverie in B minor and concluding with Scriabin’s Fantasy in B major, the program weaves landmark works and lesser-known gems into a fluid, dreamlike narrative. Pieces by Vasks, Lourié, and the Fragile Prelude connect seamlessly, creating a continuous musical landscape where motifs and keys subtly echo from one work to the next. Gallavadin’s interpretations evoke shifting nocturnal universes, capturing the passage from night into the luminous light of daybreak.
