With her album Mozartiana, award-winning violinist Clarissa Bevilacqua offers a musical tribute to Mozart while creating a dialogue between past and present. A graduate of the Mozarteum Salzburg and winner of both first prize and the audience prize at the 2020 Mozart International Competition, Bevilacqua presents a programme that blends classical masterpieces with contemporary works. The album includes pieces such as F. X. Mozart’s Sonata for Violin and Piano, Beethoven’s 12 Variations on “Le nozze di Figaro”, and Schnittke’s Moz-Art. It also features world premiere recordings by Felix Willeitner, Sophia Jani, Jorge Bosso, and Giovanni Sollima. Through this project, Bevilacqua highlights her commitment to connecting classical tradition with modern creativity.

Clarissa Bevilacqua is an internationally recognized violinist praised for her expressive musicality and refined technique. A precocious talent, she earned her Bachelor of Music at sixteen, graduating summa cum laude, and later completed master’s degrees at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and the Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” Berlin. Her 2025–26 season includes major solo debuts with the Münchner Symphoniker and Münchener Kammerorchester at leading venues worldwide. Bevilacqua’s debut solo album, Mozartiana, will be released in 2026 by Berlin Classics. A champion of contemporary music, she frequently collaborates with living composers and has premiered several works dedicated to her. She is also founder and artistic director of DYNAMIKfest Salzburg, a festival promoting young artists and new chamber music.
