This album presents orchestral and concertante works by Krzysztof Meyer, Józef Władysław Krogulski Milwid, and Franciszek Lessel, performed by Huberman Philharmonic Częstochowa under Adam Klocek, with pianists Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just and Anna Zmarzły. The program emphasizes clarity and motivic development: Meyer features angular themes, controlled dissonance, transparent textures, and precise rhythm ensuring structural clarity. Milwid and Lessel reflect Classical balance with clean articulation, minimal pedal, and ornamentation integrated into melodic lines, preserving symmetry. Soloists and orchestra maintain balance with controlled bass and clearly separated textures across concertante sections. The recording emphasizes stereo depth and natural resonance, highlighting continuity between Classical structure and modern precision.

Adam Klocek (b. 1973) is a Polish cellist, conductor, composer, and educator. In recognition of his cultural contributions, he received the Silver Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis in 2014.
